Good Day,
May you help me to understand, there is CPF meetings of which are held beginning of every 2nd month? of which head's of community groups / business's may attend to share input etc.
Then there are sector forum meetings, are these separate to the above?
How often are these scheduled? & whom may attend from the community to have input if necessary?

Types CPF meetings

Hi Bel

The CPF has provided us with the following information:

CPF: Just as it says Community Police Forum – community working with SAPS (see website for all the nitty-gritty stuff) Any organisation or business can delegate one or two representatives to attend (membership form attached) and any member of the public can attend, but without voting rights. They meet every second month with the public and Management meets every month.

Sectors: This is where individuals can meet with the police to discuss day-to-day crime problems and find solutions in their immediate area. Anyone can attend (to find out what sector you are in see website) and they usually meet once a month.

Schools forum: This is for educational facilities in our area only or anyone who offers a service to them. They meet once a month and address all issues, one of which will be safety & security.

Ward Forum: Regular meetings to take issues forward to the City for solutions. Only delegated people from existing Organisations may attend. The CPF has representation at this level as do SAPS.
