According to Metro Police Deputy Chief Yolanda Faro: “Two suspects, a man and a pregnant woman, were arrested at one of the houses and charged with dealing in narcotics when large quantities of cocaine, Ecstacy tablets and TIK were found in their possession.”
The confiscated items include:
47 x units of cocaine
67 x units of Ecstacy tablets
½ kg TIK
5 x cellphones
1x laptop
20 x credit cards
400 x US dollars
Three bundles of cocaine were found in a wardrobe and approximately R100,000 cash was found in a jacket.
“Two other suspects were arrested for the possession of TIK and heroin respectively during two separate raids in the same area,” said Faro.
